The Palmer Course
In 2003 the Arnold Palmer Design Company was appointed to renovate the East Course at St. Andrews Country Club utilizing their superior Signature Design services. Upon completion, the course was appropriately renamed the Palmer Course, and is one of a handful of such courses around the world that the legendary player and premier golf course architect allow to become a Signature Course.
The Arnold Palmer Design Company took what most believed was a very modest course and created one with exceptional beauty and a reputation for being unsympathetic to errant shots.
The Palmer Course is acclaimed as one of the most attractive in South Florida with pearl white bunkers, spectacular vegetation, majestic palm trees, emerald green fairways and captivating water. It is one of the most challenging courses you will find anywhere, with a wide array of tees suitable to all golf skill levels making the course enjoyable for any player.
The Olde Course
In 1995 St. Andrews chose highly regarded, golf course architect, Gene Bates, to develop a championship course of the first order. The ability to play the course at over seven thousand yards from the tips with opportunities for championship pin positions, gives the most accomplished of players a superior test of skill.
The Olde Course greens were recently re-grassed in state of the art TifEagle turf, which reinvigorated the classic undulations and movement originally designed, providing sustained putting speeds that require all players to bring their best touch to the game.
The course boasts a beautiful, gently rolling layout, featuring exceptionally groomed fairways, highly attractive native Florida landscaping and magnificent tranquil water areas.
A large selection of teeing areas provides golfers a choice from which they can play the course. A long course with demanding shot making ability, or a course with generous landing areas and open approaches to any green. The Olde Course undeniably offers enjoyment for golfers of varying skill sets.
